Overview
Our Asbestos Awareness for Groundworkers course is a specialist course developed for a wide variety of operatives who work with soils and may unintentionally disturb asbestos.
Who is the course for
Supervisors and trade personnel, including trainees such as: demolition workers; construction workers; general maintenance staff; electricians; plumbers; gas fitters; heating and ventilation engineers; telecommunication engineers; architects; building surveyors; and other such professionals.
Why Attend
To meet delegates’ legal obligations when undertaking work with Non-Licensed ACMs contained or presumed in soils or below ground and other Notifiable Non-Licensed Works (NNLW) on sites affected by asbestos in soils and construction demolition wastes. This course follows the Non-Licensable Work with Asbestos Including NNLW Syllabus (MS002) and accompanying Addendum (MS011).
How long is the duration of the course
The course takes 3-4 hours with a mandatory test at the end of the course.
Where does the course take place?
The course can be delivered at our training centre in Chorley or at the client’s premises if suitable training facilities are available.
What do I need?
Just bring yourself and a whole bunch of enthusiasm. We supply the rest.
