The Good Life Orphanage

The Good Life Orphanage is a fantastic cause that TASC are proud to support. Based in the Kikambala area of Kenya, TGLO provides a safe and secure home for orphaned children who would otherwise be without. 100% of the funds donated go towards the charity and supporting the many children who rely on the orphanage.

TGLO was founded over 15 years by Mary and Kevin McGuire. After holidaying there with their family,  they visited some of the local villages. What struck them the most and created a lasting impression was the happy, smiling children despite the unbelievable poverty they were living in. After going home, they decided to do something about it and raised £42,000 to renovate a dilapidated and abandoned school.

After seeing how life-changing the school was to the children in Kikambala, Mary and Kevin decided to escalate things and build an orphanage home as many children as possible. Since opening back in August 2008, TGLO has helped over 100 orphaned children, providing three meals a day, alongside an education, medical support and perhaps most importantly, the love and care that all children deserve.

TASC, alongside our parent company TSS, is committed to supporting The Good Life Orphanage and are excited to continue to do so. It’s a cause that’s close to all of our hearts here and one which we fully endorse.
