The UKATA Excellence Awards, were first held in 2018 to commemorate 10 years since inception. This year, as well as bringing together UKATA approved training providers and associates to recognise their achievements within the industry, the event will also celebrate the 15th anniversary of UKATA, a leading authority on asbestos standards and training.
Being shortlisted for the awards is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Training & Safety Consultants (TASC) and its team.
Steve Pollard (Principal Trainer & SHEQ Manager) expressed delight and gratitude to the UKATA judges for considering TASC ‘s efforts and innovation for such prestigious awards. Recognition is an excellent reward for support staff from the parent company T Sumner Smith (TSS) who manage to fit support to TASC in between their primary roles.
Training & Safety Consultants (TASC) has consistently strived for excellence in the training and consultancy field. Through its unwavering commitment to training excellence, TASC have designed a unique computer-generated testing system which allows immediate training needs analysis (TNA) for refresher courses and constant testing and monitoring during initial courses. Attendees receive reports on their performance and the trainer has access to answers from all students in order to tailor fit refresher training. As TASC and the parent company replaced computers, we have donated stock to Child Action North West which has greatly benefitted children in the local community where we have continued to donate excess IT equipment, and marked specific celebrations by donating selection boxes and Easter eggs.
The winners will be announced at the UKATA Excellence Awards 2023 taking place on Friday 7th July 2023 from 6:15pm at the Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport, with legendary British athlete and TV personality Kriss Akabusi MBE set to host the final.
